Atom-Based Eee PC 901 and 10-inches Eee PC 1000

Asus is the company that opened the market of low-cost laptops with its Eee PC and so far, it has led the market. However, since releasing the first Eee PC laptops, Asus has countered series rivals like Everex with its CloudBook or HP with its current mini-note. For marinating the top place in low-cost market, Asus has to fight with serious upcoming rivals too. One of these rivals that may overtake Asus in the future is MSI with its Wind PC laptops.

After Asus released its 8.9 inches Eee PC 900 starting price at $549 , we have heard time to time about Atom-based Eee PC 901 with 8.9-inches laptop that will be more expensive than upcoming Atom-based 10inches MSI Wind PC with starting price of $400.

But today news shows that Asus is going to showcase and launch its Eee PC 1000 series with 10-inches display next to its Eee PC 901 at Computex 2008 in Taipei, Taiwan.

Already we had got acquainted with Eee PC 1001.
